My name is Emily Piatt and I am a Project Engineer at Cincinnati Incorporated. I grew up in Columbus, Ohio with my mom, dad, and younger brother, Matthew. I attended St. Michael Elementary School and St. Francis DeSales High School. I graduated from DeSales as a valedictorian and went on to attend the University of Cincinnati. Some of my interests include service, 3D printing, inventing, video games, softball, and spending time with my friends and family. To me, the people I love are most important in my life and everything else is extra.
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2019 and a Master of Engineering in Additive Manufacturing in 2021. In Fall of 2021 I started the ME PhD program at UC and am conducting my research in the area of large format additive manufacturing. In my off hours I enjoy keeping my printing and design skills primed through work at The N3xt Dimension which was started as a way to keep innovating in the additive space after Cincinnati Incorporated made the decision to exit the additive business.
